This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Join the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR), dedicated to enhancing Australia's remote, rural, and regional communities.

• Oversee the daily execution of FRRR's community philanthropy, community foundations, and support for philanthropic partners.

• This is a part-time position (0.8 FTE) with a fixed-term contract lasting 24 months.

• The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere across Australia.

• Facilitate connections between internal teams and external stakeholders, integrating information, relationships, and practical support to enhance partner experiences and the effectiveness of FRRR's community philanthropy initiatives.

• Reporting to the Social Infrastructure Manager, collaborate with various teams to manage partner servicing, uphold robust administrative systems, and aid in the successful delivery of philanthropic services and community philanthropy activities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a deep understanding of rural and regional communities along with community-led approaches.

• Capable of establishing and nurturing relationships with both external partners and internal teams.

• Experience in coordinating the execution of community initiatives, events, and engagement activities.

• Ability to support partnership development by researching prospects, monitoring opportunities, and coordinating contributions.

• Proficient in working with systems, data, and advancing technology, including AI tools.

• Hold, or be in the process of obtaining, a relevant qualification in community development, social sciences, philanthropy, or a related field (e.g., Social Work, Sociology, Public Policy, Nonprofit/Philanthropy studies), or possess equivalent practical experience.

• Desirable (but not mandatory): experience in building or enhancing systems and processes for program delivery; experience in supporting partnership development; familiarity with rural, regional, or community-based initiatives; experience in facilitating events, learning activities, or stakeholder engagement.
