This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wyoming.
• Oversee, develop, coordinate, and execute various regional and statewide initiatives and projects for the Wyoming Center on Aging (WYCOA), which includes the establishment and upkeep of strategic partnerships, marketing programs, and evaluating program effectiveness.
• The Community Outreach Coordinator, III is tasked with managing the activities of WyCOA grants and contracts, collaborating closely with the Center on Aging leadership to ensure all grant and contract obligations are fulfilled.
• Create and deliver outreach programs/services aimed at specific groups, including training workshops, conferences, and presentations for schools or communities; evaluate program needs, organize necessary materials, and assess program effectiveness.
• Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with agencies and organizations focused on designated programs or services.
• Design and facilitate in-service training sessions that encompass program design and execution.
• Formulate marketing strategies and promotional materials for distribution to the target audience.
• Prepare budgets and maintain financial records associated with a particular activity, project, or service.
• Create and manage a database and/or website related to a specific activity, project, or service.
• Serve as the project manager in organizing and coordinating activities to support a specific program.
• Research, draft, and/or write grants, applications, and fundraising proposals to various sources at local, state, and national levels.
• Conduct research for an activity, program, or service, author articles and reports, and formulate strategies for disseminating information and research findings.
• May supervise professional and technical staff in the execution of programs, objectives, and goals.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field.
• Experience: 4 years of progressively responsible work-related experience. This experience must include at least 2 years at the previous level or an equivalent.
• Required licensure, certification, registration, or other requirements: A valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) that complies with the Driving for University Business SAP.
