Community Manager – Events

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee and coordinate in-person SolarCards TCG events utilizing platforms like Eventbrite.

• Work closely with the marketing and community teams to strategize, promote, and carry out beginner sessions, tournaments, and activations.

• Announce and disseminate event information across various social media channels and community platforms.

• Maintain a well-organized and current calendar of all events to ensure visibility, consistency, and robust community engagement.

• Identify potential organizers and ambassadors within the existing community and customer segments.

• Develop low-friction educational materials (quick-start guides, mini videos, demo sessions) to facilitate enjoyable gameplay.

• Enhance the collector ecosystem by encouraging trading, community interactions, and content generation.

• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to showcase new cards, sets, or accessories at community events.

• Assist in capturing raw content (photos, short videos, and testimonials where possible) during events for social media sharing.

• Track and report on engagement metrics and community feedback from activities.

• Investigate opportunities to broaden the community beyond core fans, including TCG enthusiasts and parents of young players.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing community programs, ideally related to games, collectibles, or TCGs.

• Strong organizational and event planning capabilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication, along with interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with trading card games or collectible communities is highly advantageous.

• Creative problem-solving skills to minimize play friction and improve social activation.

• Ability to work independently and on-site for in-person events.
