This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Accountable for identifying new residential sales opportunities for Metronet across various markets and states.
• Developing, coordinating, and executing market development strategies aimed at sustaining and enhancing residential sales prospects.
• Establishing new opportunities by building relationships with residential housing contractors, single-family Homeowner Associations, and Utility Companies.
• Collaborating with internal teams such as Community Development Operations, Outside Plant, and Residential Sales to ensure timelines and schedules are maintained for the efficient delivery of services.
• Conducting thorough research and analysis of the territory, including the competitive landscape.
• Engaging in negotiations with developers, builders, city officials, and Homeowner Associations to secure essential agreements.
• Leveraging various resources to assess residential growth opportunities.
• Overseeing projects from concept to completion to acquire new residential customers.
• Partnering with Finance, Marketing, and Legal departments to identify revenue opportunities.
• Utilizing company-provided CRM software to effectively manage and monitor the pipeline and projects.
• Nurturing existing and fostering new relationships with local organizations to expand Metronet's presence.
• A bachelor's degree in business or relevant experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing.
• Proficient understanding and experience with Access Laws, rules, and FCC requirements (Inside Wiring Rules) are mandatory.
• Documented experience in communicating and working with C-Suite executives.
• A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is required.
• Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, across all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.
• Outstanding organizational and project management capabilities, along with strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
• Previous experience in operations, marketing, or related fields within the real estate industry is preferred.
• Availability to travel for training or as required.
