This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Enhance Change.org Mexico’s online presence by identifying relevant petitions, creating content tailored for the platform, tracking trends, and experimenting with formats, hooks, and narratives that boost reach, engagement, followers, and campaign visibility.

• Broaden Change.org Mexico’s sphere of influence by cultivating relationships with influencers, journalists, new media, civic actors, and decision-makers, focusing on conservative and center-right areas while maintaining platform neutrality.

• Elevate Change.org Mexico’s brand visibility and significance by pinpointing compelling story angles, linking petitions to Mexico’s social and political context, and ensuring the platform participates in timely public discussions.

• Facilitate campaign promotion across online, offline, and email channels by implementing media pitches, influencer outreach, social media initiatives, email campaigns, petition deliveries, interviews, press conferences, and public engagement activities.

• Foster organizational learning and AI integration by leveraging AI to enhance research, content creation, monitoring, audience mapping, and reporting, while sharing success stories, lessons learned, tests, media achievements, and challenges with local and global teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Mexico in communications, public affairs, journalism, digital campaigning, media, or political communications.

• More than 3 years of practical experience in social media and/or media relations, with a proven history of content creation, channel management, media pitching, or shaping public narratives.

• Proficiency with photo and video editing software such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms. Demonstrated experience using AI tools in communication processes is a plus.

• Proven experience in building relationships with journalists, influencers, creators, civic actors, decision-makers, or political figures to enhance campaigns or public initiatives.

• Native Spanish speaker with excellent writing and communication abilities across social media, press, email, and campaigns. A minimum of B2 English proficiency is required.
