Communications Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conceptualize and implement thought-leadership initiatives for the CEO and CPO, encompassing proactive media engagement, podcasts, and events.

• Build and nurture media relationships to enhance company visibility.

• Evaluate and monitor global media coverage and devise newsjacking strategies.

• Support the drafting and editing of briefing documents, pitch materials, and press releases.

• Oversee Tala’s corporate content: website, blog, social media presence, and awards submissions.

• Manage employer engagement initiatives from start to finish: social media amplification, Slack channels, internal meetings, and other communication efforts.

• Partner with the People team to aid in the rollout of initiatives (e.g., working norms, pulse surveys).

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in communications, either in-house or at an agency.

• Excellent communicator capable of executing strategies across various channels.

• Strong knowledge of cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence.

• Established relationships with key media, reporters, and stakeholders.

• In-depth understanding of corporate communications strategies, including PR and owned content (e.g., blogs, social media).

• Proficient analytical skills to evaluate and improve content performance.

• Innovative problem solver with a quick learning ability.

• Capacity to collaborate across different teams and manage sensitive information.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to perform under pressure to meet deadlines.

• Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
