This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Handle both incoming and missed calls with outstanding customer service.
• Keep clients informed throughout their USCIS journey.
• Conduct introductory calls within 24 hours of case assignment.
• Send daily follow-up emails and text messages.
• Create client profiles and forms, as well as send Docketwise invitations.
• Update spreadsheets and tracking systems with new cases.
• Request and gather necessary documentation from clients.
• Schedule USCIS and internal deadlines on the calendar.
• Arrange USCIS-related preparation meetings and client appointments.
• Organize, maintain, and finalize case files.
• Review and respond to approximately 15–30 Clio tasks daily.
• Handle about 18 incoming calls each day and manage 12 document request workflows.
• Check emails, text messages, and customer service chats on a daily basis.
• Validate passports, medical exams, money orders, and submit filing requests.
• Prepare NCLs and closure letters as needed.
• Complete e-filings within 72 hours of CT requests for typographical corrections and non-delivery notices.
• Participate in daily team meetings.
• Coordinate Phase 4 post-filing updates and maintain spreadsheets.
• Assist attorneys with scheduling for USCIS interview preparation.
• Organize FOIA requests and direct them to the FOIA team when applicable.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant.
• Previous experience handling USCIS cases and procedures.
• C1 level proficiency in English and native Spanish is required.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Capability to manage a high volume of calls and tasks.
• Proficiency in using legal software such as Clio, Docketwise, RingCentral, and Google Suite.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and dependable.
• A reliable laptop or desktop (minimum 8GB RAM, Core i5 or higher) with a stable 10 Mbps internet connection for optimal performance.
• Ability to receive payments in USD via PayPal.
