Communications Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess trends in media coverage and sentiment through media monitoring tools to guide strategy and create insights-driven recaps for campaigns.

• Perform research and analysis to bolster communications initiatives with actionable recommendations that shape our strategy.

• Develop media lists, briefing documents, pitch templates, image research, and more to facilitate media opportunities and campaign execution.

• Acquire skills to prompt, operate, and enhance AI tools in alignment with the Communications team’s guidelines and practices.

• Manage PR team operations, including overseeing meeting agendas, drafting internal newsletters, and additional tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Recent graduates are preferred, especially those with a degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or a related field.

• Applicants must be available to commit to a full-time schedule (40 hours per week) for the entire duration of the 6-month internship.

• Previous experience in public relations or communications internships, particularly in an agency setting, is preferred.

• Strong communicator: You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to produce organized, professional, and concise written materials.

• Organized and resourceful: You can prioritize tasks effectively while thriving in a fast-paced environment as part of a distributed team.

• Proactive problem-solver: You anticipate questions and issues before they arise and are comfortable taking initiative.

• News enthusiast: You stay updated on trending topics and excel at identifying opportunities for engagement.

• Experience with AI tools is highly preferred, and familiarity with media monitoring tools such as Muck Rack, TVEyes, Zignal Labs, etc. is an advantage.
