Communication Specialist III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• The primary role involves the cost-effective preparation of regulatory-compliant Safety Data Sheet (SDS) documents for international clients who are outsourcing this task to the Managed Regulatory Services.

• Competently author regulatory compliant SDS/Labels for external clients across the US, EU, CA, and other nations.

• Conduct research using various reference materials and supplier SDS to gather necessary information and employ techniques to resolve discrepancies in the sources.

• Execute evaluations based on toxicological, environmental, chemical, and physical properties to determine hazards associated with substances and chemical products.

• Carry out quality control and regulatory compliance reviews of SDS/Labels prepared by fellow team members.

• Assist in defining the specifics of the SDS/Labels content to be delivered as per contractual agreements.

• Offer related services such as regulatory training, conducting compliance reviews, drafting procedures, and providing consultation services.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in Science (Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, Environment, Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene) or Chemical Engineering. A Master's degree is preferred.

• Familiarity with at least five of the following: REACH, GHS, OSHA, WHMIS, IATA, IMDG, ADR, ADNR, TDG, DOT, ADG, EPA, CEPA, TSCA, FDA, PCPA, CCCR, CPSC.

• Relevant work experience ranging from 3 to 5 years or more.

• Background in sciences, including Biology/Chemistry applications, Health/Safety/Environmental regulations, and/or toxicology.

• Experience in product stewardship or regulatory affairs.

• Proficiency as a user of EH&S related software.

• Consulting experience is a plus.

• Self-motivated and proactive.

• Capability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
