This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Skillfully create regulatory compliant Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and labels for external clients across the US, EU, Canada, and other regions.
• Research various reference materials and supplier SDS to gather necessary information while employing methods to address discrepancies found in the sources.
• Conduct evaluations based on toxicological, environmental, chemical, and physical attributes to assess the hazards associated with substances and chemical products.
• Execute quality control and regulatory compliance checks on SDS/Labels prepared by other team members.
• Assist in defining the specifics of the SDS/Labels content to be delivered as part of contractual agreements.
• Offer related services including regulatory training, compliance reviews, procedure writing, and consultation services.
• A university degree in a scientific field (Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, Environmental Science, Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene) or Chemical Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 1 to 5 years of relevant work experience, or more.
• Familiarity with at least two of the following regulations: REACH, GHS, OSHA, WHMIS, IATA, IMDG, ADR, ADNR, TDG, DOT.
• Background in the sciences, particularly in Biology or Chemistry applications, Health/Safety/Environmental regulations, and/or toxicology.
• Experience in product stewardship or regulatory affairs.
• Proficiency as a user of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) related software.
• Experience in consulting roles.
