This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

• Execute commissioning tasks utilizing TIA application software (PLC / WinCC) for sorting and distribution systems.

• Assist in the development of hardware solutions for the migration of PLC controls from S5 to S7 / PC to S7.

• Conduct independent root-cause analyses and acceptance testing based on specific system and customer requirements.

• Create customer documentation and lead training sessions for clients.

• A completed degree in automation engineering or automation informatics; or an equivalent qualification as a technician or master craftsman.

• Preferably, some experience in commissioning conveyor systems.

• Initial experience with sorting and distribution systems within the CEP industry is advantageous.

• Proficient knowledge of S7 control hardware/software, WinCC, drive and inverter technology, networks, and MS Office.

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

• Willingness to travel over 70% of the time across Europe.
