This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, construct, and showcase Smartsheet solutions that address specific customer challenges.
• Lead technical sales initiatives, working closely with sales teams to define customer needs, summarize obstacles, design solutions, and offer technical advice that highlights the value of Smartsheet's products.
• Facilitate discovery sessions to identify business processes and issues, informing both sales and solution delivery strategies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Professional Services teams to ensure an exceptional overall customer experience and drive revenue growth.
• Continuously expand and maintain knowledge of all Smartsheet products, services, and competitive landscape.
• Engage in cross-functional and department-wide projects that align with strategic initiatives.
• Provide insights to Product teams to ensure our solutions remain in tune with customer requirements.
• Occasionally travel to customer locations as a technical subject matter expert.
• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a PreSales Solutions Engineer, Solutions Consultant, Solution Architect, or in a related role within the SaaS and enterprise B2B software sector.
• Strong critical thinking abilities, a growth-oriented mindset, and experience in analyzing, evaluating, and synthesizing complex issues.
• Experience in leveraging and positioning AI throughout sales cycles.
• Demonstrated success in selling across various lines of business.
• Robust technical skills and the ability to thrive in ambiguous and high-pressure environments.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and their practical applications in business.
