This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Execute installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs on HVAC/R systems, food service equipment, plumbing, fuel dispensers, and electrical systems within the facility.
• Address service requests and effectively troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment in accordance with warranty stipulations and industry standards.
• Update the service technician supervisor and store management on the status of repairs.
• Complete work order notes on the same day and submit them to the supervisor with accurate charge allocations.
• Ensure sufficient truck stock, maintain service vehicles, tools, and uniforms in good condition.
• Diagnose and repair fuel dispensers, replace fuel filters, and address issues with fuel security systems.
• Inspect both the interiors and exteriors of facilities for safety and maintenance concerns.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on rooftop HVAC units, split systems, ice machines, standalone refrigeration units, fryers, and other food service equipment.
• Fulfill service appointments and coordinate with facility maintenance teams.
• Carry out routine testing and calibration of equipment.
• Provide coverage for regions during staff vacancies, paid time off (PTO), or leaves of absence (LOA).
• Respond to corporate project requests and participate in surveys.
• Adhere to lockout/tagout procedures and safety guidelines.
• Keep maintenance workspaces and company vehicles clean and organized.
• Offer support during emergencies such as power outages or safety incidents.
• Travel extensively and perform other assigned duties as required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid state driver’s license and a positive driving record are mandatory.
• At least 3 years of recent experience in commercial HVAC service is required.
• EPA Universal 608 certification is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in repairing commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment is essential.
• Basic knowledge and capability to repair commercial plumbing and electrical systems.
• Fundamental understanding of OSHA guidelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Intermediate mathematical skills are necessary.
• Capability to read and interpret site drawings.
• Ability to work in congested areas during business hours.
• Competence in collaborating effectively with internal departments.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Ability to lift and carry weights up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work in inclement weather conditions.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, crawl, and kneel as required.
• Participation in company-sponsored safety training is required.
