📋 Description

• Serve as a vital member of the deal teams to facilitate the achievement of business orders, sales, and margin objectives for the designated segment.

• Assess opportunities and create MYA indicative, budgetary, and firm proposals by spearheading the development and proposal processes, including customer negotiations.

• Offer commercial support at various stages of the commercial process, encompassing risk assessment/mitigation and terms and conditions.

• Capable of conducting inflation and escalation evaluations, executing financial analysis, scenario planning, and pricing strategy development.

• Comprehend and convey risk along with associated mitigation strategies for opportunities to all stakeholders involved.

• Prepare and negotiate contracts, particularly focusing on identifying solutions to bridge negotiation gaps with customers.

• Collaborate closely with (i) the MYA teams of internal Gas Power Business Lines (New Units, Global Services, Aero, Steam Power Services), (ii) internal customers within GE Vernova (GEV Hitachi, Hydro, Renewable), and (iii) external clients.

• Conduct price tracking and trending analysis for MYA products to support market-based decisions during the Commercial Review Boards (CRB) and Deal Reviews.

• Present deals for delegation of authority approvals and ensure compliance with the ITO process, including the review of terms and conditions and risk management assessment.

• Oversee the tender schedule and guarantee timely internal approvals, bid submissions, and preparation for order bookings.

• Challenge existing tendering practices and suggest innovative collaboration methods.

• Utilize Salesforce.com and CPQ to manage proposal risk profiles and pipeline forecasts.

• Assist in handover meetings with OTR to accurately represent the As-Sold pricing and scope of supply.

• Lead communications at all organizational levels, including conducting deal reviews with senior and executive leadership.

• The CLS MYA Commercial Manager will contribute to the evolution of the CLS MYA Product line within SCS and its ongoing enhancement.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science/Engineering from an accredited institution.

• Extensive experience in commercial aspects of Power business tendering.

• Strong business acumen, along with negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

• Previous experience with contract drafting, managing, and negotiating complex commercial and legal terms and conditions.

• Prior experience in evaluating and mitigating risks for multi-year transactions.

• Proficient understanding of complex financial multi-year models and advanced formula-driven spreadsheets.

• Customer-centric mindset with a proven track record of responding promptly to customer needs.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

• Willingness to travel, approximately 30% of the time.
