Commercial Loan Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develops, expands, and oversees a portfolio of high-quality member business loan relationships.

• Identifies and cultivates new opportunities for member business loans through networking strategies and community engagement.

• Establishes profitable connections within the business sector.

• Negotiates terms and conditions in accordance with commercial lending policies and procedures.

• Keeps abreast of competitor rates and offerings.

• Conducts interviews and consultations with potential business loan members.

• Achieves monthly loan production and profitability targets.

• Fosters a strong relationship banking culture through product expertise and marketing efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least five (5) years of experience in a high-volume, production-focused commercial lending role or a similar position.

• A valid driver's license to operate fleet vehicles as part of job responsibilities.

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field of study.

• Certifications: Risk Management Association (RMA) Lending Certifications.

• Proficient in investor commercial real estate, C&I lending, and business deposit products.

• Excellent networking and relationship management abilities.

• Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a proven track record in outside sales.

• Capacity to comprehend complex business loan requests, assess the overall financial strength of borrowers/guarantors, and identify their strengths and weaknesses.
