Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage a high volume of statewide commercial foreclosure cases.

• Serve as the primary point of contact between the firm and clients, vendors, outside counsel, courts, trustees, and other foreclosure personnel.

• Handle files in accordance with applicable foreclosure regulations and timelines established by the firm.

• Review and execute various legal pleadings and correspondence.

• Ensure accurate updates are maintained in both client and firm management systems.

• Advocate for the merits of assigned cases during hearings, conferences, mediations, or trials.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be admitted to practice law in New York.

• Strong preference for candidates with experience in real estate, mortgage, and/or commercial litigation.

• Familiarity with FDCPA, RESPA, TILA, and relevant state and federal debt collection and real property laws is a plus.

• Highly detail-oriented with the capability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.

• Proficient in legal research, writing, and document drafting.
