This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial refrigeration systems and kitchen equipment.
• Service a range of equipment, including refrigeration, cooking, and ware-washing systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals effectively.
• Communicate with manufacturers for technical assistance and parts identification.
• Install replacement parts and execute repairs in an efficient manner.
• Complete service documentation, including work orders and inventory tracking.
• Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and tool inventory.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company standards.
• Identify and suggest preventative maintenance or additional services.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in refrigeration, HVAC, appliance repair, or commercial kitchen equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
• Capability to read schematics and technical diagrams.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to take part in on-call rotation.
• EPA certification is preferred.
• CFESA certification is preferred.
• Experience with commercial refrigeration systems or food service equipment is preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a field environment.
