
Commercial HVAC Senior Journeyman Technician – Union

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
• Conduct inspections and perform maintenance on air-conditioning and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Identify and rectify mechanical and electrical issues in heating and cooling systems.
• Install, replace, and calibrate HVAC systems, including thermostatic controls and liquid lines.
• Service refrigeration units such as refrigerators, ice machines, gas packs, and heat pumps.
• Oversee chilled and hot water supply systems and fine-tune internal control mechanisms.
• Fabricate and install metal ductwork while assisting in HVAC system design and planning.
• Keep comprehensive maintenance records to ensure adherence to City, State, and EPA regulations.
• Recognize and mitigate risks to foster a safe working environment.
• Work collaboratively with management to uphold safety and operational standards.
• Provide commercial HVAC service solutions in field and rooftop settings.
• Over 8 years of practical experience in the HVAC industry.
• Capability to push, pull, and lift weights up to 50 lbs.
• EPA Universal certification required.
• Proficient in standing, crawling, sitting, squatting for extended durations, climbing ladders, and working on rooftops.
• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Must possess a valid and current driver's license.
• Must be eligible for coverage by the company’s insurance provider.
• Basic knowledge of building automation controls is essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and ServiceMax is advantageous.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with air- or water-cooled chillers is preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus.

• On-call schedule with rotations occurring every 7-8 weeks in most locations.
