Commercial Finance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malta.

📋 Description

• Assist in the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term planning processes.

• Create and maintain financial models that encompass revenue, customer acquisition, LTV/CAC, margin, and cash flow.

• Generate monthly management reporting packs that include clear variance analysis.

• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to assess the ROI of campaigns and promotions.

• Monitor KPIs related to acquisition, retention, and monetization metrics.

• Aid in preparing board and shareholder reporting materials.

• Support financial due diligence and integration planning efforts.

• Develop both standalone and consolidated financial models for the new brand.

• Assist in the transition to Yellow’s financial systems and reporting frameworks.

• Set up KPI tracking, performance dashboards, and cost allocation models.

• Work collaboratively across functions to ensure operational and financial alignment during launches.

• Track performance against business case assumptions after integration.

• Perform scenario modeling and stress testing using Looker Studio & Tableau.

• Assist in capital allocation decisions and investment analysis.

• Identify opportunities for process enhancements within finance and reporting functions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or high-growth digital enterprises.

• Proficient financial modeling skills (advanced Excel required; experience with BI tools preferred).

• Background in digital, gaming, iGaming, social, subscription, or performance marketing sectors is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with SaaS-style metrics (LTV, CAC, ARPU, cohort analysis).

• Experience in supporting M&A, integrations, or new market launches is a plus.

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA (qualified or part-qualified) or equivalent is preferred.

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.

• Commercially curious with a strategic mindset.

• Effective communicator with the ability to present financial insights to stakeholders outside of finance.

• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
