This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve as a legal business partner to Wiz’s revenue teams by summarizing and conveying legal concepts and risks in a manner that is relevant to business teams.
• Take charge of drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a diverse array of legal agreements. Provide guidance to fellow Wizards on contract interpretation and negotiation to enhance contract efficiency.
• Aim to grasp the context of Wiz’s customers' positions and the requests from internal clients, working diligently to resolve problems and address concerns from their viewpoint.
• Manage a substantial workload by setting appropriate priorities with internal clients and delivering results in an efficient manner.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of agreement templates and legal processes, while operating within CPQ and CLM platforms along with associated practices and procedures.
• Oversee agreements that adhere to company policies and risk tolerance standards.
• A minimum of 6 years of in-house experience is essential, with a preference for candidates from technology companies (law firm experience in conjunction with in-house experience will also be taken into account).
• Required knowledge of data privacy and experience in addressing data privacy-related inquiries during the negotiation of Data Processing Agreements.
• Must be admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law in at least one U.S. state, with a proven track record of success as a lawyer.
• Possess a strong “business-friendly” approach, recognizing that the primary role of the legal team is to support the growth and success of the business.
• Capable of structuring, drafting, and negotiating a high volume of various contracts, including SAAS contracts, professional services agreements, partner agreements, and NDAs.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to advocate for a position while maintaining a collaborative and open-minded demeanor.
• Ability to work autonomously on a remote basis as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Slack, DocuSign, and contract lifecycle management systems.
