This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.
• Act as a claims advocate and facilitator for clients.
• Provide consultation to clients regarding claim-related issues.
• Analyze and suggest solutions for coverage, quantum, and claim management challenges.
• Negotiate with insurers, adjusters, and legal representatives to expedite fair claim settlements.
• Engage in sales presentations aimed at prospective clients.
• Assist clients in formulating customized claims servicing instructions that align with their needs and insurance programs.
• Review and provide feedback on policy wording for account teams.
• Conduct regular reviews of claims with clients, insurers, and loss adjusters.
• Interpret policy language and carry out coverage analyses.
• Support advocacy, coverage, dispute resolution, claims management, and associated client services.
• Completion of post-secondary education and/or relevant work experience.
• Must hold or be committed to obtaining the appropriate provincial license within the probationary period.
• Additional insurance qualifications/designations, such as CIP or CRM, are considered advantageous.
• Strong understanding of coverage and analytical skills in policy interpretation.
• Familiarity with pertinent insurance legislation and notable insurance-related court rulings.
• Knowledge of Michigan no-fault auto liability.
• General understanding and/or experience with various lines of insurance coverage; detailed knowledge in specialized coverage lines is a plus.
• Previous experience in claims consultation with larger risk accounts is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient time management and organizational skills.
• Results-driven with a strong emphasis on client service.
• Competent computer skills, including proficiency in email, word processing, spreadsheet software, and familiarity with presentation software.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree (4-year degree) is required.
