College Admissions Counselor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Support high school students during the college admissions journey.

• Develop academic and extracurricular plans.

• Offer structure and constructive feedback on college applications.

• Aid in discovering passions and fostering early career development.

• Graduate School Counselors guide students through the graduate school admissions process.

• Career Counselors deliver career guidance to secure competitive internships and job placements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Graduate from a top 50 national university (advanced degrees such as MD, PhD, MBA, JD, or Master's are advantageous).

• Experience as a college counselor for high school students, demonstrating a successful history of acceptances into a top 50 national university.

• Availability in the afternoons (post 3:00 p.m.) and/or on weekends to meet with students.

• A genuine passion for education, along with skills in teaching, essay writing, and editing.

• Outstanding oral and written communication abilities.

• Capable of planning and adhering to deadlines.

• Commitment to providing excellent client service.

• Willingness to engage with students over multi-year packages.

• Previous experience as admissions officers at top 50 colleges.
