This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +7 more states.
• Manage a high volume of both outbound and inbound calls with professionalism and assurance.
• Facilitate payment arrangements that align with both customer requirements and company objectives.
• Regularly achieve and surpass performance benchmarks (quality, compliance, collections).
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.
• Establish trust rapidly through active listening, empathy, and effective communication.
• Capable of clear communication in both spoken and written forms, employing proper grammar, telephone etiquette, and available electronic tools.
• Proficient in navigating various computer applications and databases.
• Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, including phone communication and navigating different computer systems.
• Skilled in overcoming objections and challenges to successfully negotiate payment plans.
• Dependable and responsible, punctual, and productive with time management.
• Exhibits professional judgment and discretion.
• Understands and protects sensitive personal information (SPI) and sensitive consumer information, such as Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Proficient in using provided tools to perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
• Self-motivated and dedicated to achieving career success.
• Willing and able to obtain Professional Collections Specialist (PCS) certification within one year of hire date (company-sponsored).
• High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) is mandatory.
• Must successfully complete the company's collector training program.
• Must pass initial, ongoing, and annual identity, criminal, and background checks.
