Colleague Consultant – AR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver implementation support for Colleague, including training, functional consulting, and technical assistance at client locations.

• Evaluate existing business processes related to student billing, payments, refunds, and collections. Recommend the use of various technological tools to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance.

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, such as student accounts and financial aid staff, to comprehend their needs, challenges, and goals. Work together on solutions that are in line with institutional policies and regulations.

• Remain informed about industry best practices and developments in Ellucian Colleague and student account technology.

• Suggest and implement ongoing enhancements to maximize the use of the Colleague Student Accounts Receivable module.

• Coordinate with both internal teams and external stakeholders to guarantee successful project execution within established timelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five years of direct experience with the Colleague Student Accounts Receivable module at a college or university.

• Proven experience in implementing the Colleague Student Accounts Receivable module.

• Established expertise in utilizing Colleague to optimize student billing, payment processing, refund disbursement, and collections.

• Capability to troubleshoot both technical and functional issues within the Colleague Student Accounts Module.

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities, complemented by a strong customer service orientation.

• Highly self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.

• Experience in generating reports to assist student accounts, including aging reports, billing summaries, and payment reconciliations.

• Competence in conveying user requirements to the technical support team.

• Understanding of how Colleague is utilized across different types of institutions.

• Willingness to travel is preferred.
