Collaborative Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Delivering exceptional psychiatric care to patients, primarily focusing on children, adolescents, and young adults dealing with anxiety and OCD.

• Performing clinical follow-up appointments and offering ongoing medication management services.

• Collaborating with Board-Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists alongside a committed multidisciplinary team.

• Enhancing clinical workflows within an interdisciplinary care framework.

• Establishing and upholding a professional environment for patients, families, InStride staff, and referring providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, specializing as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

• A valid, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license and prescriptive authority (DEA) in New Jersey (NJ) or Massachusetts (MA).

• Acquisition and maintenance of licensure in additional states as requested by InStride.

• Completion of continuing education requirements in accordance with state law in the states of practice.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience, with direct involvement in treating children, adolescents, and young adults with anxiety and OCD.

• Clinical proficiency and experience in psychopharmacology for anxiety, OCD, and associated disorders in pediatric and youth populations.

• Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team structure.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.

• Capability to adapt and thrive both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-oriented environment.

• Comfort with fully virtual care and adeptness in utilizing computer and mobile technology to improve care delivery, communication, and monitoring.

• Competence in managing sensitive and confidential information in a manner that fosters confidence and trust.
