This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise collaboration solutions within Microsoft 365, encompassing Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange Online, in alignment with organizational modernization strategies.

• Promote the adoption and effective utilization of Microsoft 365 and Copilot features by collaborating with business stakeholders, delivering enablement strategies, and enhancing user experiences throughout the organization.

• Spearhead and support organizational change initiatives aimed at fostering modern work practices and increasing the utilization of digital workplace tools.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to collaboration engineers, cultivating a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and operational excellence.

• Direct and execute intricate projects pertaining to collaboration platform enhancements, migrations, and integrations, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams (Security, Infrastructure, Applications, and Cloud) to incorporate Microsoft 365 and Copilot into the broader enterprise architecture.

• Assess and implement emerging Microsoft technologies, including Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and other extensibility solutions to bolster productivity, automation, and business process integration.

• Create and maintain architectural documentation, technical standards, and operational procedures to facilitate scalable and sustainable collaboration services.

• Enforce security, compliance, governance, and data loss prevention (DLP) controls across Microsoft 365 workloads, incorporating considerations for responsible AI and data governance.

• Identify and initiate projects that promote automation, efficiency improvements, and enhanced digital workplace experiences utilizing PowerShell, Power Platform, and other automation tools.

• Offer advanced troubleshooting and support for intricate collaboration platform issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.

• Collaborate with leadership and business stakeholders to define and refine digital workplace and collaboration strategies that align with organizational objectives.

• Keep abreast of developments in the Microsoft roadmap, advancements in Copilot, and industry trends to continually enhance the organization's collaboration and AI capabilities.

• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide support for after-hours operations as required.

• Undertake additional duties and strategic initiatives as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Microsoft Certification (e.g., MS-900, MS-102, or relevant Associate/Expert-level certifications) is preferred.

• Extensive expertise in Microsoft 365 workloads (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online).

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot and AI-driven productivity tools, including adoption, governance, and use-case development.

• Foundational knowledge of Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and exposure to Copilot Studio or similar automation/AI development tools.

• Understanding of data governance, compliance, and DLP frameworks within Microsoft 365 and AI-powered environments.

• Strong grasp of networking, identity (Entra ID/Azure AD), security, and compliance principles within Microsoft 365.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Over 7 years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise collaboration platforms, with a focus on Microsoft technologies.

• Proven track record in a senior engineering or technical leadership role, including mentoring team members and leading complex initiatives.

• Demonstrated success in driving adoption, change management, and user enablement for Microsoft 365 or comparable enterprise platforms.

• Experience integrating collaboration tools with business processes, automation platforms, and cloud services.

• Experience working with or supporting governance frameworks related to AI, data protection, and enterprise collaboration tools.

• Experience collaborating with senior leadership to influence digital workplace or technology strategies is a strong plus.
