This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise collaboration solutions within Microsoft 365, encompassing Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange Online, in alignment with the organization’s modernization strategies.

• Promote the adoption and effective utilization of Microsoft 365 and Copilot capabilities by collaborating with business stakeholders, executing enablement strategies, and enhancing user experiences across the organization.

• Lead and support initiatives for organizational change to advocate modern work practices and boost the uptake of digital workplace tools.

• Offer technical leadership and mentorship to collaboration engineers, nurturing a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and operational excellence.

• Direct and implement intricate projects related to enhancements of collaboration platforms, migrations, and integrations, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Security, Infrastructure, Applications, and Cloud) to integrate Microsoft 365 and Copilot into the wider enterprise architecture.

• Assess and adopt emerging Microsoft technologies, such as Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and other extensibility solutions to boost productivity, automation, and business process integration.

• Create and maintain architectural documentation, technical standards, and operational procedures to support scalable and sustainable collaboration services.

• Implement and uphold security, compliance, governance, and data loss prevention (DLP) measures across Microsoft 365 workloads, considering responsible AI and data governance aspects.

• Identify and spearhead initiatives that promote automation, efficiency improvements, and enhanced digital workplace experiences utilizing PowerShell, Power Platform, and other automation tools.

• Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for complex collaboration platform challenges, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.

• Collaborate with leadership and business stakeholders to define and refine digital workplace and collaboration strategies in line with organizational objectives.

• Stay informed about developments in the Microsoft roadmap, advancements in Copilot, and industry trends to consistently enhance the organization’s collaboration and AI capabilities.

• Participate in an on-call rotation to support after-hours operations as required.

• Undertake additional duties and strategic initiatives as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Preferred: Microsoft Certification (e.g., MS-900, MS-102, or relevant Associate/Expert-level certifications).

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 workloads (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online).

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot and AI-driven productivity tools, focusing on adoption, governance, and use-case development.

• Foundational knowledge of Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and familiarity with Copilot Studio or similar automation/AI development tools.

• Understanding of data governance, compliance, and DLP frameworks within Microsoft 365 and AI-driven environments.

• Solid grasp of networking, identity (Entra ID/Azure AD), security, and compliance principles within Microsoft 365.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, with the capacity to translate technical capabilities into business value.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Over 7 years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise collaboration platforms, specifically focusing on Microsoft technologies.

• Proven track record in a senior engineering or technical leadership role, encompassing mentorship of team members and management of complex initiatives.

• Demonstrated success in driving adoption, change management, and user enablement for Microsoft 365 or similar enterprise platforms.

• Experience integrating collaboration tools with business processes, automation platforms, and cloud services.

• Experience working with or supporting governance frameworks related to AI, data protection, and enterprise collaboration tools.

• Collaboration with senior leadership to influence digital workplace or technology strategies is a significant advantage.
