This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with seasoned PMHNPs to treat psychiatry patients with low to medium acuity using evidence-based methodologies.
• Conduct thorough chart reviews and offer prompt guidance on diagnoses, treatment plans, medication management, and clinical escalations.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances, when legally permitted and clinically suitable.
• Be available during agreed-upon working hours and at the conclusion of PMHNP shifts as required by relevant state regulations.
• Mentor clinicians and uphold Legion’s clinical standards, documentation expectations, and responsible-prescribing protocols.
• Contribute to the expansion of access to high-quality psychiatric care throughout the United States.
• An active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• MD or DO medical degree.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry.
• Strong skills in clinical assessment, diagnostics, and medication management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfort in providing care remotely and utilizing electronic health record systems.
• A commitment to patient-centered, compassionate, and evidence-based care.
• Willingness to review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances, based on independent clinical judgment and relevant laws.
• Must be amenable to Legion’s monthly supervisory compensation rates.
• Residency within the United States is required.
