This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Collaborate with highly-skilled, well-trained, and empathetic PMHNPs who provide evidence-based treatments for low- and medium-risk psychiatry patients.
• Perform regular chart reviews and offer guidance on clinical decisions and patient care.
• Approve and transmit prescriptions via our EMR & eRX system.
• Mentor fellow psychiatric providers to ensure that every patient receives the highest quality of care.
• Actively contribute to Legion's mission of enhancing accessibility to world-class psychiatric care for all patients, regardless of their insurance.
• Possession of an active, unrestricted physician license (MD or DO) in Texas.
• Active, unrestricted DEA registration in Texas.
• Board certification or board eligibility as a psychiatrist.
• Primary residence located in Texas.
• Comfort with remotely supervising nurse practitioners, conducting chart reviews, and addressing questions in monthly meetings.
• Ability to authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances, in compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as Legion Health’s stringent clinical protocols.
• Availability by phone during PMHNPs' working hours and at the end of their shifts for medication reviews, as mandated by state medical board rules.
• Commitment to a minimum tenure of one year with our team.
