This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Collaborate with seasoned PMHNPs to treat patients with low to medium acuity in psychiatry, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
• Perform chart reviews and offer prompt guidance regarding diagnoses, treatment strategies, medication management, and clinical escalations.
• Assess and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances when legally permissible and clinically suitable.
• Be accessible during designated working hours and at the conclusion of PMHNP shifts as required by relevant state regulations.
• Mentor healthcare providers and uphold Legion's clinical standards, documentation requirements, and responsible prescribing practices.
• Assist Legion in enhancing access to top-tier psychiatric care throughout the United States.
• MD or DO degree in psychiatry.
• Active, unrestricted medical license to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry.
• Strong skills in clinical assessment, diagnostics, and medication management.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfort in delivering care remotely and utilizing electronic health record systems.
• Dedication to providing patient-centered, compassionate, evidence-based care.
• Competence in reviewing and authorizing prescriptions, including controlled substances, based on independent clinical judgment and relevant laws.
• Ability to work part-time and be available during agreed working hours and when necessary at the end of PMHNP shifts in accordance with state regulations.
