Cognos Developer – Mid/Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create, sustain, and improve reports and dashboards utilizing IBM Cognos.

• Collaborate with business areas and stakeholders to collect and analyze requirements.

• Design and manage data models using Framework Manager.

• Construct complex queries and enhance performance.

• Integrate data from various sources, including data warehouses, relational databases, and APIs.

• Ensure the quality, consistency, and governance of data.

• Provide support and resolve issues for reports in production.

• Document both technical and functional solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in IBM Cognos Analytics.

• Understanding of data modeling principles, particularly with Framework Manager.

• Expertise in advanced SQL.

• Background in Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence.

• Experience in data integration processes.

• Desirable: Knowledge of ETL tools (such as DataStage or similar).

• Familiarity with additional BI tools.

• Ability to create technical and functional documentation for developed solutions (Senior level).

• Strategic collaboration with stakeholders, involvement in BI governance, and mentoring junior professionals.
