Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist – Young Persons

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality, outcome-oriented CBT to children and adolescents through video consultations.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulations to direct treatment, ensuring timely and appropriate support for every young person.

• Engage in clear and sensitive communication with parents, carers, schools, and other agencies involved in the child’s care.

• Adhere to clinical guidelines and safeguarding policies, remaining particularly aware of the unique safeguarding requirements of young individuals.

• Manage session limits associated with the customer’s insurance coverage while prioritizing recovery goals in your practice.

• Perform risk assessments and develop effective management plans, with assistance from senior clinicians as necessary.

• Offer signposting, onward referrals, and one-off wellbeing sessions as required.

• Occasionally conduct group psychoeducation or wellbeing workshops.

• Operate independently within Bupa’s service framework, maintaining comprehensive records and adhering to the highest clinical standards.

• Participate in monthly team meetings and regular supervision sessions.

• Collaborate with colleagues across operational and clinical teams to enhance the experience for clients and employees.

⛳️ Requirements

• A BABCP-accredited Post-Graduate Diploma in CBT/High Intensity Therapy.

• Full BABCP Accreditation.

• Experience working with children and adolescents presenting a variety of issues.

• A minimum of two years’ post-qualification experience in delivering high-intensity CBT.

• Strong IT proficiency and confidence in utilizing digital health systems.

• Excellent communication abilities, tailoring your approach to accommodate various ages and needs.

• Capability to prioritize workload, manage a structured caseload, and meet utilization expectations.

• A warm and empathetic demeanor that fosters genuine support for young people.
