Coding Specialist II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Independently executes intricate professional coding across various specialties and environments.

• Code complex professional encounters and procedures with precision.

• Ensure accurate sequencing, modifiers, E/M level selection, and alignment with documentation.

• Address coding-related edits and denials by determining the root cause.

• Implement payer medical policies, NCCI concepts, and considerations for global services.

• Offer real-time support to colleagues on standard coding scenarios.

• Engage in internal quality review initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School diploma or GED is mandatory.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in physician/provider coding is essential.

• CPC or CCS-P certification is required.
