This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Address technical challenges across infrastructure, deployments, databases, caching, and web performance.
• Oversee support tickets using Zendesk, providing live chat or voice assistance as necessary.
• Enhance platform reliability by monitoring alert queues and participating in the on-call rotation during working hours.
• Work in tandem with Product and Engineering teams to escalate bugs, report edge cases, and enhance internal tools.
• Advance documentation and knowledge sharing among global support teams.
• Diagnose issues related to DNS, CDN, SSL/TLS, and large-scale web infrastructure.
• Recognize recurring issues and propose improvements to systems, workflows, and documentation.
• Experience with Linux systems: You are proficient in the terminal and can navigate production environments.
• Coding or scripting skills: You have experience with at least one backend programming language (e.g., Go, Python, PHP, Ruby, Node.js).
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure: You have worked in or supported distributed systems, containerized environments, or cloud platforms.
• Basic networking knowledge: You understand how the internet functions and can troubleshoot issues related to DNS, SSL, CDN, etc.
• Strong written communication: You articulate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively in asynchronous global teams.
• Problem-solving mindset: You are proactive, enjoy investigating issues, and seek to enhance our workflows.
