This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Act as the internal subject matter expert at GG TEQ for Microsoft licensing, cloud commercial programs, and software publisher opportunities.
• Provide guidance to Account Executives on Microsoft 365, Azure, Copilot, CSP, EA, MCA, renewals, licensing optimization, and customer licensing strategies.
• Assist in the growth of Azure consumption, CSP migrations, Change of Channel Partner opportunities, customer transitions, and cloud adoption initiatives.
• Identify commercial opportunities within Microsoft related to renewals, migrations, optimization, security, productivity, collaboration, and cloud modernization.
• Establish and nurture relationships with Microsoft account teams, distributor teams, licensing specialists, partner development contacts, and strategic publisher representatives.
• Recognize and coordinate Microsoft funding and incentive opportunities, including ECIF, MDF, Azure migration programs, partner incentives, and relevant co-sell or enablement initiatives.
• Support customer meetings, proposals, licensing reviews, solution positioning, and internal sales enablement efforts.
• Collaborate with sales and leadership to develop repeatable processes for Microsoft CSP, Azure, Microsoft 365, Copilot, and broader cloud/software opportunities.
• Keep up-to-date with Microsoft licensing updates, CSP program changes, cloud offerings, promotions, incentives, and software publisher programs.
• Contribute to GG TEQ’s wider software and cloud practice by enhancing knowledge of AWS, GCP, and other strategic publisher programs.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Microsoft licensing, cloud, software, or partner ecosystem within a VAR, MSP, distributor, LSP, Microsoft, or technology solutions provider.
• In-depth understanding of Microsoft CSP, Enterprise Agreements, Microsoft 365, Azure, MCA, and Microsoft Partner Center.
• Knowledge of Microsoft funding programs, partner incentives, licensing models, and commercial cloud programs.
• Capability to assist sales teams with customer-facing licensing advice, proposal assistance, and opportunity strategy development.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and customer-facing skills.
• Comfortable collaborating with Account Executives, vendors, distributors, and internal operations teams.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to distill complex licensing and program information for sales teams and clients.
• Preferred certifications related to Microsoft, Azure, or licensing.
• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Veeam, Adobe, VMware/Broadcom, cybersecurity, backup/data protection, or other prominent software publishers is a plus.
• Familiarity with working alongside Microsoft field teams, Partner Development Managers, distributor licensing teams, or vendor alliance teams is preferred.
• Understanding of multi-cloud strategies, cloud migration programs, marketplace models, and customer modernization initiatives is advantageous.
• Experience in supporting sales enablement, internal training, customer proposals, webinars, campaigns, or vendor-funded initiatives is preferred.
