Cloud Security Engineer – Pre-Award

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implement and uphold cloud security measures within AWS and Microsoft Azure environments.

• Ensure adherence to NIST 800-53 Rev. 5, FedRAMP, and DoD IL 2, IL 4, and IL 5 security standards.

• Design and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions along with privileged access controls.

• Assist in the deployment of Zero Trust security architectures and automation initiatives related to security.

• Perform vulnerability assessments, risk analyses, and remediation tasks across cloud platforms.

• Configure and oversee cloud-native security monitoring and logging functionalities.

• Integrate security measures into DevSecOps and CI/CD processes.

• Aid in accreditation, audit preparation, and cybersecurity compliance reporting efforts.

• Collaborate with system engineers, developers, and data architects to ensure secure solution design.

• Offer technical recommendations to enhance the overall security posture of the EDA environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Five (5) years of equivalent professional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

• Proven experience in implementing cloud security frameworks and controls.

• Experience in configuring and managing IAM solutions within AWS and/or Azure environments.

• Experience in conducting vulnerability assessments and security compliance evaluations.

• Familiarity with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms.

• Experience in implementing or supporting Zero Trust architectures.

• Knowledge of cloud security monitoring, incident detection, and response operations.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
