Cloud Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will enhance our AWS infrastructure, ensuring a stable, scalable, and secure operation with a strong emphasis on security.

• You will manage our SIEM solution in Elastic, integrating other teams and keeping the system operational.

• You will be involved from the beginning in architectural decisions and the initiation of new projects, contributing your ideas.

• You will conduct your own security assessments or penetration tests and coordinate with our expert partners during implementation.

• You will collaborate closely with developer teams, architects, and departments in a respectful and direct manner.

• You will build, document, test, and ensure systems are running smoothly.

⛳️ Requirements

• You have experience with various AWS services such as EKS, Networking, RDS, S3, IAM, Step Functions, Lambda, Direct Connect, or X-Ray, and feel at home in the cloud.

• Infrastructure as Code is second nature to you, preferably using AWS CDK and TypeScript.

• You are familiar with Kubernetes, Network Policies, HTTPS, Security Groups, SAML/OIDC, auth0, NIS 2, OWASP, Load Tools like GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, as well as Logging & Monitoring as part of your daily tasks.

• You have experience or certification in Cloud Security, or perhaps you already possess knowledge in areas such as SIEM.

• You work in an organized manner, document clearly, enjoy sharing your knowledge, and appreciate solutions that operate seamlessly.

• You exhibit a strong sense of quality and possess good communication skills in both German and English (B2 level).
