This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

• Provide support for the security configuration and monitoring within AWS environments.

• Conduct thorough secure configuration assessments, focusing on IAM, network security, logging, and monitoring.

• Detect misconfigurations and offer remediation strategies that adhere to security best practices.

• Oversee and prioritize CSPM alerts and findings.

• Execute risk assessments related to vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.

• Assist in remediation initiatives and verify corrective measures.

• Maintain security dashboards and reporting metrics related to posture.

• Monitor and evaluate EDR alerts and potential threats.

• Aid in the containment, investigation, and escalation processes.

• Contribute to incident response (IR) activities and related documentation.

• Carry out alert monitoring, prioritization, and triage for cloud, endpoint, and email systems.

• Adjust detection rules to minimize false positives and enhance operational efficiency.

• Ensure prompt responses in accordance with SLAs and established security procedures.

• Implement security best practices, including least privilege IAM, encryption, and vulnerability management.

• Align cloud environments with compliance requirements and security standards.

• Suggest ongoing enhancements to the overall security posture.

• Create automation scripts utilizing Python.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Cloud Security or Security Operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.

• Practical experience with security services in AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.

• In-depth knowledge of IAM, network security, and cloud-native security mechanisms.

• Experience with CSPM tools and EDR solutions.

• Understanding of email security protocols such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.

• Familiarity with SIEM tools and incident response methodologies.

• Proficiency in scripting languages, including Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
