This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +5 more states.
• Oversee and safeguard the company's multi-cloud infrastructure utilizing GCP and Azure.
• Set up infrastructure, implement security measures, and manage deployment pipelines.
• Develop automation solutions to minimize manual tasks within IT and security operations.
• Assist with compliance obligations (HIPAA, SOC 2) at the infrastructure level.
• Incorporate security considerations in every system you design or maintain.
• Manage internal IT functions: access management, endpoint security, and onboarding automation.
• Leverage AI tools for scripting, log analysis, documentation generation, and enhancing engineering efficiency.
• Integrate AI into daily operations spanning research, ideation, drafting, design iterations, quality assurance, and expedited delivery.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in one or more of the following domains:
• Cloud engineering and infrastructure management (GCP, Azure, or multi-cloud).
• DevOps, site reliability engineering, or platform engineering.
• Implementation of infrastructure security and cloud security measures.
• Management of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Practical experience managing cloud environments across GCP and Azure (multi-cloud experience required).
• Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar).
• Experience in building and securing CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of cloud security principles: IAM policies, network segmentation, firewall rules, encryption at rest and in transit.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience in configuring and managing security monitoring and alerting systems.
• Capability to support internal IT operations: access management (SSO, MFA, RBAC), endpoint security, and onboarding automation.
• Familiarity with compliance standards at the infrastructure level (HIPAA, SOC 2 preferred).
• Strong documentation skills and ability to maintain clear records of infrastructure and security.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, fully remote, distributed environment.
• Proficiency with AI tools in everyday technical tasks.
• Relevant certifications: GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, Azure Security Engineer, AWS Security Specialty, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.
• Experience with container orchestration and container security (Kubernetes, Cloud Run, Docker, or similar).
• Familiarity with service mesh, network policies, or micro-segmentation.
• Background in supporting regulated workloads in healthcare or financial services.
• Experience with SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanning tools, or coordination of penetration testing.
• Experience in system performance monitoring, availability engineering, and cost optimization.
• Familiarity with compliance evidence gathering and audit support at the infrastructure level.
• Background with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar).
• Base salary: Approximately $28,000–$35,000 USD per year (adjusted for target regions).
• Performance bonus: Potential to earn up to 100% of base salary in performance-related bonuses.
• Salary and total compensation are contingent upon experience, location, and demonstrated performance during the hiring process.
