Cloud Security Consultant – Microsoft Purview

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support the development and deployment of solutions utilizing Microsoft Purview, Privileged Identity Management, and governance strategies.

• Collaborate with Quisitive team members and client technical managers to identify and address security challenges.

• Design and implement Microsoft Purview solutions, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection, and Insider Risk Management.

• Classify and label sensitive data through Microsoft Purview Information Protection and auto-labeling policies.

• Facilitate data governance initiatives using Purview Data Map, data discovery, and enhancements to compliance posture.

• Configure and set up Microsoft Entra ID.

• Work with Defender for Microsoft 365 products to strengthen client security posture.

• Utilize Defender for Endpoint to ensure comprehensive endpoint protection and compliance integration with Intune / Endpoint Manager.

• Collaborate with team members to assist clients in transitioning to Microsoft Endpoint Manager and co-management.

• Log analytics and perform data analysis via Azure Log Analytics.

• Develop, update, and manage PowerShell scripts for automation purposes.

• Configure and set up Conditional Access Policies.

• Implement and configure Privileged Identity Management.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in Azure security engineering, including the configuration of security controls, monitoring environments, and responding to incidents.

• A strong business acumen, along with a credible, professional appearance and excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to engage in customer environments and identify client business requirements.

• A desire to work within a team and the ability to navigate across functional boundaries within the organization.

• Effective time management skills to adhere to delivery plans and schedules.

• Previous consulting experience in a customer-facing position.

• Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings as necessary.

• Familiarity with RMS, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR).

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection, and compliance solutions.

• Experience with Microsoft Defender for:

• O365 Email Protection and Exchange Online Protection

• Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM)

• Endpoint
