Cloud Security Analyst – India, Hyderabad

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee and evaluate security alerts generated by Microsoft Sentinel, Wiz, AWS GuardDuty, AWS Security Hub, and Azure Defender for Cloud

• Execute incident investigation and response for cloud security occurrences in both AWS and Azure settings

• Collaborate with cloud engineering, DevOps, and operational teams

• Design and refine Microsoft Sentinel detection rules as well as KQL analytics queries

• Utilize Wiz for managing cloud security posture, assessing vulnerabilities, and analyzing configurations

• Conduct security evaluations of AWS and Azure assets, including EC2, S3, Azure Storage, IAM policies, network settings, and security groups

• Analyze CloudTrail, VPC Flow Logs, Azure Activity Logs, and other cloud telemetry

• Monitor and investigate IAM security incidents, such as privilege escalation, unusual access behaviors, and policy breaches

• Develop and sustain security dashboards, metrics, and reports utilizing AWS QuickSight, Azure Workbooks, Power BI, or comparable tools

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security, emphasizing security operations, incident response, or cloud security

• At least 2 years of practical experience with the Wiz Platform and AWS security services, including GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail, Config, and IAM

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Azure security services such as Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Monitor, and Microsoft Entra ID

• Strong comprehension of cloud security principles and applicable experience with AWS and Azure platforms

• Experience in analyzing security logs, alerts, and telemetry from cloud environments

• Familiarity with Wiz security graph, vulnerability prioritization, and cloud inventory management

• Proficient in KQL (Kusto Query Language)

• Awareness of cloud identity threats and attack patterns

• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework

• Knowledge of container security monitoring

• Understanding of serverless security and API security

• Comprehension of cloud network security

• Proficient in Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code security scanning using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or Bicep

• Understanding of AWS Organizations, Service Control Policies, and Azure Management Groups

• Relevant security certifications are preferred, including AWS Certified Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate, CompTIA Security+, or GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA)

• Wiz certification or proven expertise with the platform
