Cloud ML DevRel Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Enhance the influence of the Hugging Face ML Cloud team by educating the ML practitioner community on optimizing their training and inference processes.

• Collaborate strategically with key cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, Cloudflare) and AI accelerator companies (NVIDIA, AMD, Intel Gaudi, etc.).

• Create and publish technical blog articles.

• Contribute to documentation and provide code samples.

• Present to both business and technical audiences at partner conferences.

• Organize and conduct webinars.

• Develop and showcase demonstrations.

• Lead go-to-market discussions with strategic partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years in developer relations or advocacy, specifically in ML or AI products, tools, or platforms.

• A well-established public profile as a technical expert, with a history of consistently publishing ML/AI content and a visible, engaged audience on LinkedIn and X (Twitter).

• A portfolio of developer-oriented content, including technical blog posts, conference presentations, demos, code samples, or documentation.

• Comfort and experience in public speaking to technical audiences (conferences, webinars, workshops).

• At least 3 years of practical experience in ML or software engineering, including deploying models in production.

• Experience in training or deploying ML models on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Proficiency in Python programming.

• Hands-on experience with the Hugging Face ecosystem (Transformers, the Hub, Inference Endpoints) or similar open-source ML libraries.

• Familiarity with GPUs or AI accelerators (NVIDIA, AMD, Intel Gaudi, AWS Inferentia, or TPU) and expertise in training and inference optimization.

• Fluency in written and spoken English.
