Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – Kineto

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee core infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Develop and maintain resilient, highly available distributed systems leveraging Kubernetes (GKE), Knative, Istio, and other related technologies.

• Automate the infrastructure lifecycle using Terraform and Terragrunt.

• Establish and sustain CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools such as Flux and Helm.

• Optimize and manage a multi-tenant data layer utilizing Postgres and Neon.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five years of experience in building and managing large-scale, commercial cloud-native infrastructure.

• In-depth, hands-on knowledge of GCP (or AWS/Azure) along with Kubernetes administration and operations.

• Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform.

• Strong understanding of Linux internals, networking (CNI and service mesh), security, and distributed system architecture.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, GitOps (e.g., Flux), monitoring solutions (Prometheus/Grafana), and logging frameworks.

• Ability to excel in cross-functional teams and effectively communicate complex infrastructure concepts.
