Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – fully remote possible

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop, manage, and enhance cloud infrastructure.

• Oversee essential infrastructure components including compute, storage, content delivery, DNS, and network security.

• Architect network designs focusing on scalability and high availability.

• Track operating expenses and pinpoint opportunities for optimization.

• Contribute to the construction, relocation, and migration of our infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed technical degree, relevant vocational training, or considerable practical experience in IT.

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in cloud or IT infrastructure.

• Proficiency with at least one public cloud platform (Google Cloud or AWS, ideally both).

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, networking, and DNS/CDN (e.g., Cloudflare or CloudFront).

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and scripting languages (Python or Bash).

• Familiarity with migrations or cross-account architectures is a distinct advantage.

• Proficiency in German language at a minimum of C1 level.
