Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure solutions on GCP.

• Leverage Terraform and Ansible for the automation of cloud resource provisioning and management.

• Oversee and deploy containerized applications utilizing Kubernetes.

• Establish comprehensive monitoring and logging systems.

• Ensure compliance of cloud infrastructure with federal security standards and regulations.

• Collaborate closely with development and security teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure on GCP.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical certification in a relevant field.

• In-depth knowledge of GCP services, networking, security, and industry best practices.

• Expertise in Terraform and Ansible.

• Practical experience with Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with federal security standards and compliance obligations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Previous experience in a federal work environment.

• Professional certification in Google Cloud Platform.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows.

• Comprehensive understanding of cloud networking principles.
