Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Execute and oversee Azure infrastructure utilizing essential Azure services (compute, storage, networking, identity).

• Facilitate the deployment of Azure resources in accordance with defined architectural standards and best practices.

• Aid in the construction of environments across development, testing, and production subscriptions.

• Monitor Azure resources and support troubleshooting of performance, availability, and configuration challenges.

• Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and Terraform under the supervision of senior engineers.

• Deploy Azure resources through CI/CD pipelines and automated processes.

• Engage in code reviews to ensure IaC adheres to organizational standards and Azure best practices.

• Assist with Azure networking implementations, including:

• Virtual Networks (VNets)

• Subnets and IP addressing

• Network Security Groups (NSGs)

• User Defined Routes (UDRs)

• Collaborate closely with senior cloud engineers, DevOps, and security teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of practical experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS and foundational PaaS services).

• Proficient understanding of Infrastructure as Code, particularly:

• Bicep

• Terraform

• Comprehension of Azure Well-Architected Framework principles.

• Basic knowledge of cloud networking, including:

• VNets, subnets, routing

• NSGs and firewall principles

• Experience with Git-based workflows (GitHub or Azure DevOps).
