Cloud Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Overseeing and executing all elements of cloud architecture and infrastructure.

• Conducting monitoring, maintenance, capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization in collaboration with management and application teams.

• Developing and establishing cloud architecture standards and procedures.

• Designing and creating automation scripts for application building and deployment.

• Formulating, recommending, and executing cloud architecture designs that are scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure.

• Collaborating with development teams to enhance and streamline CI/CD practices.

• Conveying technical concepts in a clear and comprehensible manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in server and cloud management solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP, VMWare, PCF).

• Familiarity with Terraform, Cloud Formation, Circle CI, Github Actions, and/or other cloud automation tools.

• Knowledge of Bash, Shell, Javascript, and other programming languages for automation purposes.

• Understanding of cloud data and storage technologies (RDS, DynamoDB, CosmoDB, PostgreSQL, Cloud Spanner, Redis).

• Excellent planning, execution, and analytical abilities.

• Certifications such as VMware VCP, MCSE, Azure, AWS, or similar are advantageous.

• Familiarity with SQL, database administration, and performance tuning is a plus.
