Cloud Infrastructure Architect – Public Sector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design, operation, and ongoing enhancement of platforms based on Kubernetes.

• Deployment, automation, and management of applications within OpenShift.

• Integration and management of contemporary identity and access management systems (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML).

• Analysis and resolution of incidents at a complex cluster level.

• Infrastructure automation utilizing Terraform, Ansible, and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

• Monitoring, logging, and performance optimization, along with the integration of new systems.

• Development and upkeep of technical documentation in accordance with established standards.

• Close collaboration with architecture, development, and security teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Kubernetes.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in the field.

• CKA, CKS, or CKAD certification is preferred.

• Required experience with API gateways and resource management.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

• Monitoring experience with Grafana and Prometheus.

• Knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift.

• Experience with Terraform or OpenTofu.

• Proficiency in Helm charts.

• Experience with Ansible.

• Familiarity with hyperscalers/cloud, with a preference for public cloud.

• Experience with IONOS Nextcloud.

• Familiarity with major hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Experience in agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum).

• A police clearance certificate is required prior to commencement.

• Willingness to initiate the SÜ2 security procedure.

• Fluency in both German and English.
