Cloud Infrastructure Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement scalable and secure cloud architectures based on PaaS, primarily utilizing Microsoft Azure.

• Architect and integrate AI/ML functionalities using Azure Cognitive Services, OpenAI, AI Builder, and similar technologies.

• Extend and customize Microsoft 365 tools (including SharePoint, Teams, and Power Platform) to meet business needs.

• Support multi-cloud strategies and ensure solution portability.

• Implement DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.

• Define and uphold security, compliance, and governance frameworks across cloud and Microsoft 365 environments.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to convert business requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Analyze and optimize application and service performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in IT and enterprise cloud architecture roles.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure PaaS offerings (such as App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, and Event Grid).

• Extensive experience with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Power Platform, Teams, SharePoint, and Graph API.

• Proven success in integrating AI/ML solutions within real-world cloud applications.

• Experience with automation platforms like Power Automate, Azure Automation, and Logic Apps.

• Strong understanding of DevOps tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform).

• Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, OCI) is highly desirable.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certification.

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or relevant Power Platform certifications are preferred.

• Certifications in AWS, GCP, or OCI are advantageous.
