Cloud Infrastructure Administrator – Mid-Level, Senior, Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and manage infrastructure solutions based on Microsoft Azure, encompassing networking, compute, storage, identity integration, and associated services.

• Develop and uphold Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration automation solutions utilizing Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and Bash.

• Enforce cloud policies to ensure security, maintain regulatory compliance, and manage user access effectively.

• Create repeatable landing zones and cloud infrastructure patterns that facilitate multiple application teams and enterprise services.

• Assist in environment setup, expansion, patching, upgrades, backup, and disaster recovery planning.

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to sustain infrastructure health and reliability.

• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure-related issues regarding connectivity, performance, availability, and integration.

• Aid in cloud migration planning by preparing essential infrastructure services and shared dependencies.

• Collaborate with architecture, networking, platform, and application teams to ensure infrastructure designs meet program requirements.

• Document infrastructure standards, operational procedures, and support models.

• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.

• Support operational readiness, change management, and configuration control processes.

• Engage in capacity planning and high availability design initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Capability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP).

• Over 3 years of experience in Cloud Computing and Infrastructure Management.

• More than 3 years of experience in designing, building, and operating cloud infrastructure and services with Azure or Amazon Web Services.

• At least 3 years of experience in writing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep, ARM, or Terraform.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in writing PowerShell or other scripting languages for automating deployment and operating system configuration.

• 5 or more years of relevant work experience or an equivalent blend of education and experience.

• 10 or more years of relevant work experience or an equivalent blend of education and experience.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Current certifications in Azure Administrator and/or Azure Solutions Architect.

• Proficiency in Azure networking, private connectivity, DNS, load balancing, and hybrid connectivity.

• Experience in supporting regulated or mission-critical environments.

• Familiarity with Azure policy, governance, subscription management, and resource organization.

• Expertise in high availability and resilience engineering.

• Experience in cost optimization and governance of cloud resources.
